Hi crafty friends, I'm madly typing this after 3 and a half days without power or internet due to a huge storm, in order to get this post live on time for the April members blog hop from the Counterfeit Kit Challenge.
This is the page I made using my Counterfeit Kit for challenge #2, the sketch challenge.
Everything is from this month's kit, except I added the navy cardstock, and some left-over white fronds from my February kit, which I coloured with gelatos. Yay!
I'll be back soon with more crafty adventures from my time without power, but in the meantime, why don't you hop on over to Tina at http://tinasscrapcorner.blogspot.com/
Or if you get lost or started here and want to go back to the beginning, jump on over to the http://counterfeitkitchallenge.blogspot.com.au/
Oh this is really splendid - from the floral paper to the graphic card - it all works together!
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty layout!
ReplyDeleteSuper cute layout :) The floral background is a gorgeious backdrop for the pictures
ReplyDeleteI love those Gelato colored fronds especially! Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteawww...sweet pic! Such a pretty floral background, and I love the sentiment card message.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful and colorful page.
ReplyDeleteI like the gray woodgrain in the center - it reminds me of a picket fence in a field of flowers. Great layout! I'm sure you're very happy to have your power back too.
ReplyDeleteA gorgeous layout. The addition of the blue cardstock and the gorgeous fronds really lift the supplies. It really is a lovely mix of colours and flowers. Sorry to hear you were under pressure with the power but glad to hear that everything worked out in the end. Good to have you on the hop!
ReplyDeleteI love what you did with the fronds! But your stitching and added hearts and dots are also, a great touch. Great take on the sketch and super page.
