You should have arrived here from the talented Julene's blog. If you haven't, you can always hop on back to the Counterfeit Kit Challenge Blog and start from the beginning!
My project today was for Challenge #1: "A Single Pop of Colour on White":
That adorable baby in the photos will be 17 in a couple of months, can you believe it!? (Mind you, his mother looks that much older, now, too!!)
This is my third page this month using the "packaging technique" to "smoosh" my gelatos onto the background. I'm really loving it and I don't think I'll be stopping any time soon!
I hope you'll take the time to leave a comment before you go and let me know you've been, and what techniques you're loving at the moment.
And now it's time to take your last hop to the lovely Lisa . . . have fun!
awww what an adorable page! I love gelatos too, and I don't use them nearly enough. I really need to pull them out and try this "packaging technique".. love how it turned out on your page!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous smiley baby - and I have die-cut cloud envy now - what a brilliant way to add chevrons! Fab page Julie
ReplyDeleteThis is just beautiful! I especially love those cute little clouds - perfect touch for the photos. Time really does fly doesn't it?
ReplyDeleteI haven't try that smooshing technique with the packaging yet - I don't own any gelatos but I know it can be done with other media. I have just recently stenciled with modeling paste though and I like the look so I think I'll be doing that again.
Great smooshing. The aqua colour really goes well with the red hat. Those clouds are adorable.
ReplyDeleteAwwwwwwwwwww so cute he is :) Love the pops of blue on the layout and the washi tape is a perfect element for the layout too :) I'll have to come back and see what you were doing with the gelatos :) need to have some fun with the ones I have

ReplyDeleteInk smooshing is the fun-nest technique ever! U can use paint, inks, etc etc. lol loved what you did with your layout! So cute n lovely! Loved the diecut cloud embellishments too.
ReplyDeleteNice page, every little touch or smoosh adds to it. Really nicely scrapped.
