I decided I wanted to make one final page utilising the purple before de-kitting, so I dug back though my photos . . .
It turns out that when my friend got married back in 2009, she'd thoughtfully used some of my kit colours in her wedding!
This page is accompanied by a pocket page, containing 5 photos from the day and a journaling card, made using matching supplies.
100 page spending freeze update
For the purpose of my spending freeze, I decided that 2 cards is equal to one page. I have now made 27 pages towards my goal of 100. Quite a respectable number, but at this rate, it looks like being 8 months before I'll be spending any money. I know that my supplies will hold out that long, I just hope my self-control does! Thanks for stopping by, I'm off to work on my Counterfeit Kit for this month, and another round of scrapping!
8 months with no shopping? :-( if you manage that, you have a lot more self control than I do! These are some great cards and what a lovely final page. Great to hear that your lilac kit worked so well for you!
ReplyDeleteWonderful cards and a lovely layout :) I wish you well on the 100 page spending freeze. The self-control is the hardest to do with that :)But I know you can :)
ReplyDeleteLovely cards and layout, I'd say you finished up in style.
