September "Scrap the Boys" - "Matching Ouchies"

Continuing in my effort to get back into the craft room and away from the online "shopping cart", I've completed another sketch challenge, this time for "Scrap the Boys".
Here's the sketch:

I took a little bit of liberty with this sketch, but I loved the 3 clusters of tags around the photo, so that's what I tried to replicate:

This photo is about ten years old, and was taken to show the matching grazes that they had on their knees.

(Angus also had a graze on his elbow, hence the adorable pose!)

All the items except for some of the tags have come from my September Counterfeit Kit.

Thanks so much for visiting, and as always, I'd love to hear your strategies for crafting more and spending less!

  1. Looks fantastic Julie. I love the colours that you've used and those adorable boys.

  2. That photo is so precious - what a sweet moment to capture! I really like the way you used the tags; it's nice to see the silver trimmed circle ones on there too. Your color combination is really lovely too.

  3. Stunning!! such a beautiful layout....Thanks for joining us at STB.
